This month, we just finished adding a whole fleet of new servers (16 new nodes to be exact) to our ever-increasing hardware deployments, buoyed by strong customer demand and planned expansion of our cloud hosting platform.
Here are some pics of our new servers, which most geeks like us would love to drool over! Featured in the images are Supermicro Twin Nodes in a 2U form factor with each node having Intel E5 2620 and above V2 series Dual CPU servers with 6 x 2.5 inch drives supporting SAS and SSD in a RAID 0,1, 5, 10 configuration with upto 528 GB RAM in each node.
Also featured are the latest Supermicro Microcloud Unit which has 12 single CPU dedicated hardware nodes in a 3U chassis, delivering unmatched price/performance for our entry-level enterprise servers. Each of these servers are equipped with Intel E3 1270 V3 CPUs, 32 GB RAM with an option of SATA or SSD drives in a RAID 0 or 1 configuration.
The key features on this hardware are redundant power supplies integrated into the chassis, low power consumption, remote IPMI management and dual gigabit LAN ports.
